PH Balanced Recordings is the brainchild of grammy-winning producer/engineer, Phil Harris. The studio is located in the heart of Five Points on East Nashville’s Music Row, next door to Gillian Welch’s Woodland Studios and Buddy Spicher’s Fiddle House. Built in 1906, the home has hardwoods, stained glass, mellow vibes, and great tones. We are a full service recording studio and post-production facility that can handle every aspect of the project, from pre-production to mastering. We have a hybrid analog/digital setup featuring a Trident Trimix (80B) 24 Channel Console, Apogee Converters, Nuendo/Protools and a tasty collection of both vintage and modern gear. Our system is completely mobile so we can take the studio “out of the studio” to any location and get the same great results. Phil is also an accomplished live sound engineer and concert recordist. We can offer an all in one approach to your live sound that includes mixing, recording, and post production.
You can reach us here to discuss any project, large or small.
